Viola joined Exetor in 2003, bringing experience in people development, change management, and top management consulting. She has worked exclusively in the area of people development since 2002, designing and delivering management training programs in communication, problem solving, and project management.

Viola was a management consultant and project leader with McKinsey & Company for 5 years. As a management consultant she worked mainly in the retail and consumer product sectors, as well as generally on issues of profitability and process design both in Europe and the U.S.  She was responsible for part of the local recruiting activities, conducted internal as well as client training programs, and served as a mentor to junior consultants.  Earlier, she worked in strategy consulting for Strategic Decisions Group in the U.S.

Viola holds a diploma and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Mannheim with focus on public choice theory and organizational behavior.  During her doctorate work she was a teaching assistant at the University of Mannheim.  She was a research scholar in the Economics Department at Stanford University and later on, a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Engineering Economic Systems at Stanford University, where she worked in the area of decision analysis.
